First Semester
Block 1 ---Creative Writing L3 / Ms. Trach
Block 2---English 12 L3 / Dr. Lane
Block 3---Anatomy & Physiology / Mr. Harb
Block 4---AP Calculus L5 / Ms. McGrath
Block 5---Colleges & Careers / Ms. McLaughlin
Block 6---JROTC LET 7
Block 7---Intro to Theater / Ms. McMahon

Second semester
Block 1 ---Phys Ed 12 / Ms. Hyde
Block 2---English 12 L3 / Dr. Lane
Block 3---Anatomy & Physiology / Mr. Harb
Block 4---AP Calculus L5 / Ms. McGrath
Block 5---Intro to Visual Arts / TBA
Block 6---JROTC LET 7
Block 7---Intro to Photo / Ms. Fitzgerald

The only complaint I have is having Ms. Trach for Creative Wirting, I really would have prefered Jennings. I never signed up for Intro to Theater, I think that I was just put into it because I'm in the Senior Class play. And I signed up to be a LET 5 for JROTC, I don't know why I'm a LET 7 all of the sudden. But whatever, it's all good. I'm pretty happy with my schedule.

I leave for Maine tomorrow and won't be back for a week. If any of you need me for any reason, which I doubt you will, call my cell phone.

Oh yeah, Hippiefest was wicked fun.

ow my back. [02 Aug 2006|10:40pm]
bringing in a pallet of hundred of pounds of dog food last night at 6 and one this morning at 10 doesn't do my back any good. and the fact that it was 100 degrees today didn't help. i'm just glad i wasn't at warped tour today. i almost passed out two years ago at gillette stadium when it was only like 90 so i definitely would have gotten heat stroke today.

besides, i'm going to hippiefest on friday. groovy.

I really started to miss having a fish this week so today I went to Seaworld Pet Center and bought a betta fighting fish. He's blue, green, and red. Me and Matt named him Darrell. He's pretty cool. I need to finish pimping out his little tank though. I'll post a picture of him someday soon.

I guess what I did was more horrible than I thought because just when I thought that my day couldn't get any worse, I find out my great-grandfather passed away.

RIP Grampa
I know you'll be happy up there with Nana. <3

Drill is officially over. I'm actually glad. This year sucked. Me, Brandi, Eddie, and Danielle are going to whip everyone on Drill Team next year into shape. I want those 15 trophies Lawrence won yesterday.

I officially have a new hobbie/sport to do. Last night me and Matt went snowboarding for the first time in years. Interesting. I didn't do as horrible as I thought I would and I can't wait to go again. This winter is going to be so amazing.

So I got my nose cauterized. Which means no more nose bleeds. But right now I can't breath and snot won't stop comming out of my nose and I can't blow it. Wicked cool. I also can't drink tea or coffee, take really hot showers, bend over, and no strenuous activities. So that means no nice long hot showers, no tea in the morning, no bending over to put my hair up, and no exhibition & armed regulation for drill. All of this because of my nose. Thanks a lot nosey.

But hey, it's all good because I had a kick ass time at the Leah Stargazing show on Saturday and we have a Photography Club meeting tomorrow.

[ mood | exhausted ]

Drill Meet today didn't go as bad as I thought it would. It actually went pretty well considering we haven' t had the best practices lately.

The bus ride there was long but me Brandi and Yellz were pretty awake and were getting pumped for the meet.

When we got to Spring Field Central High School we realized that someone fucking forgot the harnesses, berres, and belts for color guard. Luckly, Brockton High School had an extra set of harnesses and belts. We went to go see what the drill floor looked like for color guard and it was fucking tiny. We're used to practicing on the huge gym floor. But Brandi did a perfect job of commanding and keeping us in bounds. We did pretty well but we didn't think we did everything perfectly.

Armed Inspection wasn't too great. Our inspections never are. People really need to study the questions they ask us.

Armed Regulation went pretty good. I was squad leader for first squad so I was nervous about staying in step and leading my squad when we all form into one line. I was just happy that I was relaxed and did everything right.

Armed Exhibition was eh. That routine needs some work. We were only competing against one other team for it so we got we're going to place no matter how it went.

Drill downs are when every cadet at the drill meet from every school falls into a hug platoon and a drill sergeant gives everyone commands. About 6 other drill sergeants go around in between everyone and look for things that people do wrong. When you do something wrong you get tapped out. The last 10-15 people left out of the hundred and something people get awards.

Unarmed Drill Downs I got out when the Drill Sergeant gave a fake command and I couldn't hear him to well so I moved. Oh well. I'm not too good at unarmed drill for some reason. But Brandi stayed in until the end and was the only person from Methuen to win that award.

Armed Drill Downs is what I'm good at. For some reason I drill better with the rifle. I ended up being the only person from Methuen to stay in until the end and it was my turn to win an award. I was so happy when I found out I stayed in until the end because I wanted that award so bad. It was just yesterday that I said one of my goals for JROTC was to win an award for the drills downs at the meets.

After that it was time to announce all the winners and give out the trophies.

The Methuen Unarmed Exhibition team got third place.

Armed inspection- didn't place. No surprise there.

Armed Regulation- didn't place. We'll do better next time.

Armed exhibition- 2nd Place But this was by default because we were only up against one other team, who we think should have been disqualified for doing a blind exchange.

Color Guard- FIRST PLACE. I could not fucking believe we got first place. When they announced that East Boston got 3rd I thought it was all over then and there because East Boston is really good. Then Brockton got 2nd place and they're also really good so I thought there was no way in hell we would get first. I was thinking that Commerce or Lawrence would get first but we fucking got first place. It was so amazing. Methuen Color Guard has never gotten first place before. WOOOOO. We are amazing.

Winning first place in Color Guard and getting an award for Armed Drill Downs made this meet all worth it. I couldn't believe how well the day actually turned out. I might post pictures but I doubt it. I didn't take a lot. I just wanted to rant to everyone about the meet.

And now I am beyond exhausted and I don't think I should go out tonight.

First Drill Meet tomorrow. Should be interesting. I'm going to be in for Armed Reg, Armed Exhibition, & Color Guard. Hope we place in at least 1. I doubt it will go as good as last year's first meet. That was just amazing. But it should be a good time. The 2 fucking hour ride to High School of Commerce in Springfield is going to be hell. I'm bringing me camera so I'll take pictures and possibly post them.

I need to go to bed now though because I have to get up at fucking 5am. Wicked cool.

So I have to get my nose cauterized because I get so many nose bleeds. Hopefully this will stop them all forever and I can get my septum pierced next year.

Oh and I gauged my ears to 00 tonight. Yeah it hurt.
